What is the Clear Start Programme

The Clear Start Programme is a small number of funded tattoo removal places offered by Offskin.

It is designed for people who want to remove visible tattoos they no longer feel represent who they are today and who feel that these tattoos may be affecting their confidence, opportunities, or wellbeing.

This is not a general free service. Places are extremely limited and carefully selected.

Why we created it

At Offskin we see tattoo removal every day and for many people it is not about regret. It is about change.

People grow and move forward in life. Careers change, circumstances change, and personal identity evolves. Sometimes tattoos do not reflect who someone is or where they want to go next.

We created this programme to support a small number of people who genuinely feel ready for a fresh start but may not currently be in a position to access treatment.

Who the programme is for

The Offskin Clear Start Programme is designed for people who feel that visible tattoos are affecting their confidence, opportunities, or sense of progress in life.

This may include people who:

Are moving forward from past life experiences and want a fresh start
Have tattoos that they no longer feel represent who they are today
Feel their tattoos may be affecting employment opportunities
Have visible tattoos on areas such as the neck or hands that impact confidence or perception
In some cases have other visible tattoos that may be considered inappropriate in professional settings
Are experiencing emotional distress or low confidence linked to their tattoos
Are ready to commit to a structured tattoo removal process

We understand that every situation is different. Each application is reviewed individually and with care.

What is included

Successful applicants will receive:

Funded tattoo removal sessions fully or partially supported depending on individual need
A full consultation and skin assessment
A personalised treatment plan
Ongoing support throughout the removal process

All treatments are carried out at our clinic using professional laser systems.

Community and partnership approach

We are actively seeking partnerships with local charities, support organisations, councils, rehabilitation services, and probation teams to expand access to this programme.

The goal is to open up funded, part funded, and discounted tattoo removal places to support people in our community who are looking to move forward in life.

We carefully review all applications and select a small number of people based on need, suitability, and commitment.

Step 3 Consultation
If successful you will be invited for a consultation and patch test.

Step 4 Treatment plan
We create a structured plan tailored to your tattoo, skin type, and goals.
